About Ripple

Ripple offers a unique integration of Physiotherapy and Pilates. Taking clients from the treatment room to the Pilates studio, getting our clients back to their daily life pain free as soon as possible. The opportunities are endless at Ripple for both our team and clients.

At Ripple we offer Musculoskeletal, Women’s Health and Vestibular Physiotherapy; Studio/Rehab Private/Duo Pilates sessions, and group Pilates Mat classes.

At Ripple we pride ourselves on delivering individualised patient centred and evidence-based treatment including both hands on treatment techniques and exercise prescription. We do not expect you to be able to treat a client adequately and to the best standard within a 20minute session, therefore our initial consultations are 1 hour sessions and follow ups range from 30min-60min consultations. We pride ourselves on the highest standard, as a result we see our clients reaching their goals sooner.

We have a local client base that has grown from word of mouth. Most of our clients are private clients with a small number of clients through work cover, CTP & DVA.

You will be a valued member of a small and expert team which consists of:

  • 1 Director who is a Musculoskeletal/Women’s Health/Vestibular Physiotherapist as well as a Pilates instructor

  • 3 Pilates instructors, including a Polestar Pilates mentor

Physiotherapist Requirements

  • Essential AHPRA registered Physiotherapist & current professional indemnity insurance.

  • Essential Australian work visa or permanent resident

  • NSW Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one.

  • Current First Aid certificate or willing to obtain one.

  • Essential Demonstrated ability to work within the code of conduct and ethical principles as outlined by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).

  • Both new graduates and experienced Physiotherapist are encouraged to apply. We love mentoring and providing a supportive environment for you to learn and grow as a physiotherapist.

  • Strong education and passion for treating musculoskeletal within a private practice.

  • Desired but not required:

    • Interest in Women’s Health. It is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop into this area, while maintaining a musculoskeletal case load at the same time.

    • Government recognised Accredited Pilates Training qualification.

  • Wanting to progress within your career path within a supportive environment.

  • Wanting to be guided and mentored by a supportive director and team.

  • Able to build and maintain a private practice caseload.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Basic understanding of admin duties (will be trained).

  • Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy.

  • Available Saturday mornings until 12PM.

  • Team player

  • Able to provide holistic care with a whole-body approach, working in collaboration/referring when appropriate.

 

An absolute MUST! Excellent inter-personal skills, empathetic treatment approach, enthusiasm to learn, dedication to do your best and ability to communicate with your team members are essential skills to possess.

  • You will be trained on all admin duties, however a basic understanding is required

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently managing clients (assessment, diagnosis, planning and treatment)

  • Administration duties (accurate & timely client notes, client form entry, payments, re-booking, Doctors letters, client communications, social media content).

  • Communicating with any relevant parties (GPs, specialist, sports clubs etc)

  • Participating in activities to attract and retain our valued clients.

  • Conducting activities such as community seminars, regular staff in-services and practice-based non-clinical activities.

  • Day to day duties such as cleaning your treatment room and restocking.
